Tips and Tricks

  1. Take advantage of the contextual toolbar in Photoshop. Saves you time and clicks!
  2. Use the Magic Wand tool for selecting areas of the letter or element
  3. Play with the tolerance setting in the Magic Wand tool
    • Higher number – tolerating MORE variety of shades/colors based on your sample
    • Lower number – tolerating LESS variety of shades/colors based on your sample
  4. Get weird – you can always undo, and digital supplies are endless. Make the supplies fit your storytelling and scrapbook.
